Geringas Chamber Orchestra was established on 70th anniversary of legendary cellist and conductor David Geringas in Berlin in 2016. Key idea was to offer young and talented musicians an opportunity of performing with orchestra under primary direction of David Geringas. The idea was promoted with great enthusiasm not least by musicians of Berlin orchestras, respected chamber musicians and international award winners. The first CD & DVD recording followed in 2020.
The chamber orchestra will now have its big debut at the Elbe Philharmonic Hall on 7th June 2021. More than 20 concerts are already set for the 2021-2022 season across Germany and Europe.
